The big picture

Alumni from the class of 1970 are pictured on the University of Iowa campus during their reunion on Sept. 17.

The Carver College of Medicine welcomed back alumni celebrating their 25- and 50-year reunion after the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed plans for reunion classes last year.

Alumni toured the medical campus, reflected on their education and training, and spoke with current medical students and leaders. Reunion weekend was capped off with a celebration of the college’s highest award, the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Awards.
