Time capsule: A decade of convenient, world-class care at IRL

For 10 years, the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics–Iowa River Landing location has helped fulfill the broader UI missions of education, research, and excellence in patient care. The ambulatory care clinic in the Iowa River Landing development in Coralville, Iowa, has offered patients a convenient location for their primary and specialty care needs since October 2012.  

On Oct. 5, 2012, UI Health Care leadership, government officials, business leaders, and other guests (pictured above) formally dedicated the clinic and toured the $73 million facility before officially opening the doors to care for patients on Oct. 8.
